Ricardo Bacelar is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and record producer.
He was a member of the Rio de Janeiro group Hanoi-Hanoi for 12 years. He founded Jasmin Studio and the record label Jasmin Music.

He recorded, composed and produced albums with several Brazilian artists: Gilberto Gil, Belchior, Ivan Lins, Erasmo Carlos, Adriana Calcanhotto, Lulu Santos, Leila Pinheiro, Fagner, Flávio Venturini, Roberto Menescal, Toninho Horta, Jaques Morelenbaum, Luiz Melodia, Ednardo, Amelinha, Egberto Gismonti, Delia Fischer, Airto Moreira, Flora Purim among others.

He develops a catalog of Brazilian music and produces albums with influences from different shades.
